What does Love mean to you? How do you express it? When do you feel it? These are questions you should be asking yourself if you don’t feel enough Love.
If you think or feel you are not receiving enough Love, ask yourself…How much Love am I giving? Most of us get caught up in feeling sad that we don’t have enough Love, but the truth is: IF YOU WANT TO FEEL LOVE…YOU MUST EXPRESS IT! You see, when we feel the euphoric feelings of Love is actually when we are expressing it. So if you want more Love in your life, find ways to express it. Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) are a fantastic way to do so. You want to get high on real Love, stop thinking of yourself and think of others. I challenge you to perform an RAK one per day for the next 6 weeks. This time also correlates to the season of Lent. Whether you are Christian, Catholic, spiritual or none of the above. A random act of kindness every day is a wonderful way to bring the Divine/Universal Light upon you, within you and feel the euphoric feeling that is being in Love.
Also look at other types of Love; such as: Love you feel for your parents, children, siblings, family, friends, pets, God, Angels, people in general, life, ocean, mountains, what you do for a living or what you want to do for a living, etc…In fact, many romantic relationships are more about power, money, companionship or convenience than actual Love. It’s sad, but none-the-less true. Real unconditional Love can be hard to find in a romantic Love, but with a really good friend, parent, child, pet…that seems to be easier. Why is that? What expectations do we put on romantic Love that we do not on other relationships? Is it fair to do so? Real Love is without conditions. Who do you feel unconditional Love towards? That is who you should spend Valentine’s Day with.
May God Bless you all with the Ability to Express Love every day of your lives!
